Orphans to Ambassadors enhances an orphanage's infrastructure using sustainable technologies to improve self-sufficiency. We firmly believe that the people we serve are fully capable of providing for themselves if given the proper tools.

Energy and Food Independence

Most of our partner orphanages spend the majority of their income on food. With limited funding and ever-increasing numbers of children, the orphanages are forced to purchase low-quality foods. We are helping orphanages become more self-sufficient by implementing vegetable gardens and small scale agriculture that the children can maintain.   

Sustainable Education

Orphans to Ambassadors believes whole heartedly in educating people about the benefits of sustainable practices. While implementing projects abroad, we take the time to teach the kids about the importance of sustainable interventions and what that means for them, their community, and their environment. We work side by side to teach them to install and maintain the systems after we've departed. 

Partnerships

O2A partners with like minded groups to leverage resources, knowledge, and increase impact on the ground. We've worked with nonprofits, vocational schools, and faith based organizations to make the greatest impact we can for our kids. Solar panels give us renewable energy by harnessing the power of the sun.  This allows for studying in the evening and supplies consistent power in areas with regular black outs or extremely expensive grid power.
