Kathy is originally from Chillicothe, Ohio, and lived in West Vancouver, B.C., various other Ohio cities, Seattle, Lima, Peru, and Sofia, Bulgaria. Her current home is in Indianola, WA. Kathy originally came to Seattle to go to the University of Washington. While at the University, she majored in English and Psychology and trained to be a teacher. She taught middle school for 39 years and has recently retired. Kathy spent her entire professional career working with youth. Traveling is Kathy's #1 hobby, along with gardening, reading, going to films and theater, and volunteering. She is also involved in a nonprofit that builds and outfits libraries in Nicaragua, my local public library volunteer group, am a board member of my local community's improvement club.
