How your Money is used

NO ONE in the organization is compensated in any way for their work- other than the satisfaction of serving those less fortunate.  Because we don’t have a payroll, 100% of donations are spent on our programs and projects! That means more solar panels, more seedlings, more greenhouse tents and more projects in more orphanages.

Gift-in-Kind

Most of the small admin. expenses necessary for operating a small non-profit are payed for through in-kind donations.  We are constantly collecting all sorts of smaller items to take with us:  toothbrushes, clothes, shoes, soap and soccer balls are all items we take along when traveling to these extremely remote orphanages. We also need basic office supplies like paper, ink, decals, etc.  If you have any of this stuff, please make an in-kind donation.

Monthly Giving
A buck a month adds up.  You can utilize your bank’s online bill-pay system to automatically donate every month.

Honor a Special Person
You can honor someone special by making a contribution in their name or making a memorial donation while helping orphanages in refugee affected areas become more self-sustaining.

You can also specify which project (Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Cambodia) you would like your memorial donation to go towards.

Company matching

If your company utilizes a company match for all charitable contributions, please use this feature to double your monetary contribution! Many large corporations offer this feature and it normally takes less than 5 minutes to record your donation and check for a company match option.

Our Endowment fund

In an effort to make our organization financially sustainable, we are working to build up an endowment fund that can help fund our projects for the next couple of decades.
